[For Windows] With most popular applications going portable these days, you may not require to carry the whole operating system as i described in Linux in your pocket – Pendrivelinux 2008 post. A set of these portable applications can make you productive on the go. Here is a list of application which are on my pen-drive.

For last few days i was in search of a Linux distro which i could install and use from my 1 GB pen-drive. By install and use, i meant to say that i could use it as a normal operating system to save my documents, bookmarks and install my favorite applications (persistent install). I tried many distro DSL, Wolvix to name a few. But, winner of them all was Pendrivelinux 2008.

With Google entering the battle, it has moved to the next level. Before the start of the month, Firefox was defending its throne by modest competitors IE by microsoft and Safari by apple.

It took me almost 2 days to put up yabBLOG and to make it functional. It was just like putting up Lego blocks. On September 31st i finally decided to open my personal blog yabBLOG. I would like to share my experience of the last two days from choosing the domain registrar till choosing and customizing the wordpress theme.
